Troy Deeney jokingly admitted he hates Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk because he is so hard to play against.The Watford skipper claimed the world’s most expensive defender was ‘too big, too strong, too quick, too good on the ball’.2

He did however admit that, despite getting the better of him on several occasions, the Netherlands captain smelt great and had great hair.“I’ve said it many times, I hate him,” Deeney toldBBC Radio 5. “I hate going up against him.“He’s too big, too strong, too quick, too good on the ball, loves fighting, a good head of hair.”Since arriving at Anfield in January, the 6ft 4ins colossus has established himself as one of the best defenders in the Premier League – a brawler capable of playing out from the back with consummate ease.
