Liverpool moved back ahead of City into first the following day with a 2-0 win at Cardiff.Guardiola has since ruled De Bruyne, who has struggled with injury problems all season, out of Wednesday evening’s Manchester derby, saying in a press conference: “It is a muscular problem.“We will see in the next days but tomorrow he is not available.” It now appears, however, that he faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.According to The Sun, a ‘small hamstring tear’ will keep De Bruyne out all four of City’s remaining Premier League matches. They are tomorrow’s clash with United, and then trips to Burnley and Brighton either side of a home fixture against Leicester. He’s not expected to be back in full training for at least a fortnight, though this expected return should mean the 27-year-old is fit to feature in the FA Cup final.
