He wrote: “The most brilliant story of the week!!! An assistant ref asked the other assistant ref to MARRY HIM before the game!“She said yes, fortunately! Romanian football is fabulous.” Following the engagement the pair embraced in a kiss on the pitch, sending the crowd wild as the players patiently waited for their game to kick-off.Let’s hope there wasn’t any dispute between the officials over a decision in the game, as who knows, the engagement may have been very short-lived.
