Borussia Dortmund wont want to lose Jadon Sancho this summer, despite the lure of a big-money offer from Manchester United.That is the view of Sanchos former academy coach at Watford, Chris McGuane, who coached the youngster for five years from 2010.

We had to make sure we gave him the right environment to go and flourish and show what he can do.You knew somebody was there that had a real talent and could progress in the game. Its very difficult to judge a nine, ten, 11 or 12-year-old and where you think theyre going to end up.

Its full credit to him and his family.McGuanes professional affiliation with Sancho ended when the youngster joined Manchester City for an initial fee of 66,000 in 2015.After impressing in Citys academy for two years, his desire to play regular first-team football saw him reject a reported 30,000-a-week contract to join Dortmund for 8million.

He needs to continue to develop and continue to put in the right performances and be there on merit when the World Cup comes around.I think if he continues to progress the way hes going, I have no doubt hell go on and do very well in that World Cup.
